While I also recommend Kim King's book, perhaps Pat is too modest. While Kim's book is an excellent reference, Pat's is an excellent beginning college text. Two books have just been published which cover the entire first year
programming and program design course at Imperial College, University
of London. They are:
"Program Design with Modula-2"
S. Eisenbach & C. Sadler,
Addison-Wesley
ISBN 0 201 17567 3
and
"Abstract Data Types in Modula-2"
R. Harrison
John Wiley & Sons
ISBN 0 471 92230 7
Taken together, these books give a complete and up-to-date picture of
the use of Modula-2 for program development.

My only complain is that she uses 'bubbles' in her data flow diagrams, rather than something easier to write in. -- Adam email: zmacv39@doc.ic.ac.uk snail: Adam Hebblewhite, Department of Computing, Imperial College, London quote: "I'm not a number, i'm a free man!" - The Prisoner disclaimer: This message is mine personally and does not constitute Department : of Computing, policy, opinion etc.
