 > Does anyone have access to some electronic modula2 docs

There is a shareware tutorial on disk by a firm called Coronado that can
be found on several bulletin boards.

 > Can anyone recommend a great [Modula-2] book?

Robert Firth's recommendation of Kim King's book is supported further here.

While I also recommend Kim King's book, perhaps Pat is too modest.

While Kim's book is an excellent reference, Pat's is an excellent beginning
college text.

Hi. I wanted my publisher to send you a copy of our book but I don't have
your address. Could I have your address please? What are you working on now?
Please give my regards to Joan.

Two books have just been published which cover the entire first year
programming and program design course at Imperial College, University
of London. They are:

"Program Design with Modula-2"
S. Eisenbach & C. Sadler,
Addison-Wesley
ISBN 0 201 17567 3

and

"Abstract Data Types in Modula-2"
R. Harrison
John Wiley & Sons
ISBN 0 471 92230 7

Taken together, these books give a complete and up-to-date picture of
the use of Modula-2 for program development.

Well, being a 2nd year student at Imperial, I can tell you that the
book by Susan Eisenbach is, indeed very good, though I haven't
actually read any of the published book, Susan used the proofs as
lecure notes last year. My only complain is that she uses 'bubbles'
in her data flow diagrams, rather than something easier to write in.
