> Does anyone know where to write to get a copy of the proposed standard?
The answer is as follows.

A Draft Proposal of a Standard for the language Modula-2 is now available.
Note that the Draft Proposal is also known as the Third Working Draft.
At least two identical Draft Proposals have been issued.

The British Standards Institution has issued a Draft for Public Comment.
A three month comment period ends on 28th February 1990.
The DPC is available from:
Sales Administration (Drafts), BSI, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LE, England.
Phone: Milton Keynes (0908 or +44 908) 220022.
Send addressed label and \pounds45 (or \pounds22-50 for BSI members).
Mention the document number 89/64044 DC.

The International Organization for Standards (ISO) has a committee
called ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22. It has issued a Draft Proposal (DP) to
the national standardisation bodies that are members of SC22.
The document number is DP10514.
The ballot period ends on 2nd March 1990.
Thus, DP10514 should be available from national standardisation bodies
such as AFNOR, DIN, Canadian Standards Body, Standards Association
of New Zealand, ...
