I recently purchased Logitech's version 3.4 Modula-2 compiler.
I discovered one bug right away: their library function
"RealInOut.WriteReal" is all screwed up.
LogiTechSupport acknowledged the error, and said it was
actually in "RealToString" which "WriteReal" uses.
They sent me a floppy which has 4 new (replacement) library files:
C87LIB.LIB
E87LIB.LIB
M87LIB.LIB
M2REAL.LIB
The programs I've tested (both) work with these new libraries.
Logitech also said their next release (4.0) would be available
this fall. (They didn't say it would be the Stony Brook package,
but they didn't say it would not be, either. I didn't ask.)
They had better offer a really good deal on the upgrade, or I'll
switch to JPI. (I would have started with JPI if I had known about
the phenomenal deal they have for students! Call 1-800-543-5202
for details.)
Happy Modulating,
MarkJ
