I think the all time best science fiction series is the WELLWORLD series by Jack L. Chalker. Another good one by the same author for light entertainment is "AND THE DEVIL WILL DRAG YOU UNDER". Any book by Niven or Hogan is guaranteed good reading. Jim Finch Xerox, Dallas
