[comp.lang.modula2] TSR GUI's ???

James.Jackson@f200.n208.z1.fidonet.org (James Jackson) (07/19/90)

Please! Help!

I've already written and distributed a program, and unfortunately I
forgot about including a GUI with it! Without rewriting a new version
I'd like to get a windows like GUI TSR package which will allow me to
have a fancy graphic interface to be used with mice or even without
to be loaded before my .EXE, to control with dialog boxes, menus, all
the functions which would regularly be used with the keyboard. I'd
love to get something which looked like Pctools 5.0 or 6.0's GUI.

If I can get me a package soon enough, I'll be sending the GUI free
to all the current users. I'm looking for the best GUI package
available for the PC, I wrote the program, and do not really want a
GUI which is suppose to be linked to my main program, but just be
happy being an externally run TSR or somehow able to overlap my
current set keyboard user interface.

Any suggestions or ideas appreciated, by a fellow programmer!

James Jackson

My program is written under DOS, not windows.
Thanks!!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't consider Pctools interface a GUI. It's all text based and there aren't any graphics. Granted it's a multi-window interface with mouse support, but it's not GUI. I guess for GUI I'm thinking of pointy mouse pointers and icons and stuff.

Then again maybe I'm wrong.

Well Mark do you know of any really nice TSR GUI programs out there?
