Sun claims to have a Modula-2 compiler for Sun4 under SunOS 4.0.3.
We sent them a purchase order for this product on June 1st, 1990.
We still don't have it and our Sun salesperson keeps coming
up with new excuses. The latest excuse is that they have
stopped shipping the tapes since they are "out of inventory"
and that nobody in the area (Southern California?) has
this compiler so they cannot make a special copy for us.
I am trying to find out the following:
1. Does anybody have the Sun4 Modula-2 compiler from Sun ?
2. Who should we talk to at Sun to get results ?
It seems that waiting three months for a tape is
beyond all reasonable limits on service.
