Hi, Just received release 1.06 of JPI M2 V2. They state that many enhancements have been included, but there's absolutely no doc. The included documentation file is valid for release 1.05. They still didn't change the CLB module to allow more than 15 concurrently open files, although the doc file states that more than 15 is possible, I wouldn't try it... Release 1.06 is the last release for version 2.0, they say. The next release will be version 3, to be released early next year. Is this confirmed in the US? Yes, Domus, that is the news we have; release "early next year" with no firmer date because JPI got heat from users by missing the date on v2.0. So JPI has -- wisely and properly, I think -- delineated the date as Real Soon Now, and has promised to ship nothing before it's ready. Hopefully this will fix the problems we've all had and make amends for anything hasty done in the past. -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!161!42!Frank.Warren Internet: Frank.Warren@f42.n161.z1.fidonet.org
