[comp.lang.modula2] Is it a fact that there is no Modula2 for UNIX on 386

= Hello Modula2 people,
=
= I have a program that runs under DOS JPI compiler and I will like to
= port it under Unix on a 386 PC machine. Is it a fact that there is
= no Modula2 compiler for 386 PC under any Unix? :-(
=
= I realy do not want to code in C.

The Sun Microsystems Modula-2 compiler runs on their 386i (also known as
the Roadrunner). I don't know how dependent it is on Sun OS rather than
more generic 386 UNIXes. You might drop an e-mail question to Jack
Guydish at Sun. His e-mail address is jackg@eng.sum.com.

Our last release of modula-2 (2.2) runs on the 386i under SunOS 4.0.x.
