FIDOnet is probably the greatest PERSONAL computer network. It has filled a great need. It has provided, for the small systems, a communications medium that far surpasses any other!! I think that the experiment with FIDOnet should be concluded. It is my opinion that the amount of traffic generated is good for the newsgroup, however, the bandwidth is limited. Some very good discussions occur from the FIDOnet feed, but for the greater part the discussions are not always relevant. Those system administrators that are partial to FIDOnet feeds for some personal reasons should consider the good of the newsgroup. This is merely opinion, so keep flamethrowers in your holsters.
