I am using Waterloo Modula-2 on the local VAX/CMS system here for a class but I can't figure out how to initialize an ARRAY OF CHAR to a NULL set. Is this the same as setting each element to the space? Oh, this is also using the EBCDIC instead of ASCII. I never heard of VAX/CMS. If your system is a VMS one I'd be interested in hearing more about the compiler. With EBCDIC or whatever it is called I bet it is a VM/CMS system. Jeff
