I was wondering if there was a toolkit for either Stony Brook Modula 2 or TopSpeed Modula 2, that supports X,Y,and Z Modem protocols, and supports baud rates up to 115200 baud, ANSI and AVATAR graphics. I would like to take a look at one. By the way, I hear so much talk about Oberon. What's the difference between the 2 languages (Mod and Oberon). Thanks fellas -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!396!16!Jeff.Jones Internet: Jeff.Jones@f16.n396.z1.fidonet.org

Yes, there is one by Solid Software. Let me see....513-651-1133. And then they can tell you about it. It's called Solid Link. -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!161!42!Frank.Warren Internet: Frank.Warren@f42.n161.z1.fidonet.org

Solid Link, from Solid Software, should support all of that except the graphic JPI has a Communications toolkit that supports ANSI terminal emulation, but doesn't cover Zmodem. And on the JPAM BBS(416-967-7241), there is a protocol Library that covers 7 different protocols(including X, Y, and Zmodem,) for TSM2 version 2. It might be in the /M2Tech SIG, which would mean you would have to be a registered user of TSM2 to get access.
