Comment: Mail not returnable through this path, use the list address Author: AEOLUS::NOTES9B "Wehrli Christoph" Topic 1972.0 Time: 16-APR-1991 17:14 ZRH Thanks for the list of sites where to get OberonM. I copied the one in Zuerich and tried to run the Abu-Demo on a AT compatible with EGA screen, the sources compiled with no error messages. The program flashes briefly the screen and returns to DOS (3.3 by the way) Readme says that eventually module Screen has to be adapted, but it's not obvious how to select an EGA. Has anybody run the Abu-Demo and can give hints? Thanks for comments. Ch. Wehrli PMOD/WRC, CH-7260 Davos-Dorf

Hi, I was confused for a bit, too. Try giving abu a filename as an argument. -Allan MacKinnon

In article <INFO-M2%91041708320142@UCF1VM.BITNET> you write: | Has anybody run the Abu-Demo and can give hints? | Thanks for comments. Just in case nobody else answered your question: ABU expects a filename as argument, and it must be an existing file. -- "Always remember, however, that there's Bert Bos (bert@let.rug.nl) usually a simpler and better way to do Alfa-informatica something than the first way that pops RijksUniversiteit Groningen into your head." I saw your note about Abu.mod not working on an EGA monitor. Being equipped with an EGA monitor cannot be the problem (Abu was developed using one). The problem must be something else. Do you have any more information? -- E. Videki (author of Oberon-M)
