[net.music] groups I like that it seems 'nobody' knows

In response to the request for groups one likes that it seems nobody else
has ever heard of, here are some:

1) Batdorf and Rodney
2) Aztec Two-Step
3) Tim Moore
4) Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers
5) George Brassens

#'s 3 and 5 are really solo artists, I guess, not groups. On THIS net,
I'll bet everybody's heard of #4. #5 sings in French.

Fine artist. I believe his biggest claim to fame is the song
"Second Avenue" (Since we can no longer make it, girl. I'll find
a new place to live my life.). It made the pop charts a few years
back, but I believe the artist of that version was Art Garfunkel or
someone like him.

Yup, the first Batdorf and Rodney album, which I believe is
untitled, has a great track called "Inner Poor Man's Dream"...haunting.
