I'm relatively new to this group, so apologies if this is a rehash question. I'm interested in finding a Modula-2 cross compiler to run either on a PC or an HP 9000/370 running HP-UX 7.0 . I wish to generate code for an embedded CPU project which I am designing. The selection of uP has not yet been made - and may well be determined by the availability (and cost) of the compiler. In general, I'll be aiming toward an 8 bit micro (6802, 6809, 6502, 8088 etc.) or possibly a cheap 16 bit chip (maybe a slow 68000). Since the compiler cost will be coming out of my own pocket, price is a fairly major factor. Email replies preferred thanks. If much interest in the result is shown, I'll post a summary.
