Late last week I sent a message indicating that my TML Pascal for GS machine had arrived but there was an error in the DISPOSE procedure. Two classes of responses came back: (1) asking for more info about the problem, and (2) those indicating they had similar and other related problems with TML Pascal. The problem is that TML does not recognize the DISPOSE procedure in any format as described on page 64 of the manual. It is not a case of compiling and then not functioning. The GSOBJ.PAS demo program, for those who also purchased the libraries, will not compile for this reason. Several others responded that they had similar problems, specifically with DISPOSE, as well as a few other (unspecified) procedures, functions, or operators. The only one beyond DISPOSE that was mentioned by name had to do with reading a character into a string array. TML apparently does not correctly handle all situations in that regard. I don't have any more details for now. I have contacted the TML folks (maybe I should say folk!). Response: gee whiz their copy works okay. I have returned my original diskette with hardcopy documentation on the DISPOSE problem, and will let you know as progress is made (hopefully soon). Bud P.S., my responses to queries for additional information are being hampered by jury duty, consequent work overload, and a bad case of spring fever. Sorry for the delay, gang.

I have since talked with TML in Jacksonville again (Daryl) and they now confirm and agree that some of their shipments of TML Pascal for the GS machine had "a bad command table." This was relative to the non-compilable DISPOSE procedure. TML recommendation: be sure to send in your registration card. If a problem occurs, they will correct it (assuming they have a card from you). Bud
