[comp.lang.pascal] Algol60

maner@bgsuvax.UUCP (09/17/87)

Was an Algol60 to Pascal translator ever produced during the mid 70s when
there was a clear need for it? If so, I would appreciate hard information,
soft data or outright rumors. Actually, information about software that
translates from Algol60 to *any* block-structured, procedure-oriented
language would be welcome. Please reply by mail if you can. I'll post a
follow-up if there is sufficient interest. Given the fact that there is
no comp.lang.algol, there probably won't be, but one never knows what software
will crawl out of the museum these days.
