That is it takes place while Marion is running the bar in Egypt. Supposedly, none of the characters from that movie (except Indiana) will be in this movie but as with most Lucas films one can never be quite sure until the movie is released. -------

The title of the sequel is correct. When the Raider of the Lost Ark videos were released, they included publicity about the next movie at the beginning of the video. Glenda R. What your son is referring to is the fact that the videocassette for Raiders begins with a short promo trailer for the sequel, which is titled "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom". It shows a scene snippet or two, and a shot of the flight path of a plane on a map, showing the locations for the new movie's plot. I also believe that the date of release is either Thurs., May 24th or Fri., May 25th. And from what I've seen (on the header of the RAIDERS videotape), it looks pretty good. Mary

A couple of weeks ago I saw a trailer for INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF
DOOM. So, unless they have changed the title since then it is the correct
name of the sequel to RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARC.
