ASCII code 0 is NULL, also known as Control-@. You can get this by holding down Alt and hitting 0 on the number pad. Some programs also let you type Ctrl-@. There must have been a zillion and a half answers to the original question. Don't you guys ever read the rest of the messages to see if a question's been answered before you answer it?
