As a project for someone in a local Apple club, I wrote a unit for Apple Pascal (v1.2) to handle shapes in a way similar to the Applesoft DRAW routine. To complete the project, I also wrote a bunch of supporting stuff, such as a program to generate (create) shapes easily, a program to collect them into shape libraries, routines in the shapes-unit to write to or read from disk entire screens, a drawing program to create screens for programs to call, routines in the shapes-unit to do some animation, and a program to test the animation sequences. After completing all this stuff, I had intended to market it somehow, but, well, the world seems to be generally disinterested in the P system (at least if you judge it from the prevailing Apple magazines). Someone from this august group (who shall remain unnamed) volunteered to beta-test it for me, but never got past the stage of being fascinated by the demo program I included. So the question for you all is: How much interest is there? Does anyone know whether the system is still in much use? I have not bothered to invest in v1.3 (yet) but I know of no reason why the system shouldn't work with v1.3 too. Is anyone interested? -- - Jim Muller
