[comp.lang.pascal] TOADLN Procedure

kirsch@braggvax.arpa (David Kirschbaum) (09/02/88)

NetLandians,
I recently sent my TOADLN (input/edit 255-char string from the keyboard)
source to Info-Pascal (again, regrets for the length of that message).
I've done some fixes (a BackSpace bug), some improvements (Now an Insert/
Overwrite toggle), etc., and a new improved version is available.
We now have (1) Inline-compatible source and compiled (text files),
(2) "External" procedure files (MASM-compatible source and compiled, so
text and binary files), (3) A test program that tests both formats.
All this is available in an .ARC file for the asking.

I normally upload things like this to SIMTEL20 so people can snarf from there.
However, since I haven't been able to reach SIMTEL20 for a week or so ..
gotta do it the hard way.

If you were interested in the original TOADLN procedure and wish the new
ones, yell directly to me via EMAIL. I'll EMAIL the uuencoded .ARC file
to you. (Up to you to decode it.)

PLEASE acknowledge when you've received the .ARC file .. some of the mailer
addresses I get are weird, and stuff doesn't make it the first time.

Regards,
David Kirschbaum
