It is my task in life (at least right now!!) to support and administer two networks of workstations (mostly SUN's) that are used by a very diverse group. One of these people is a fan (that's putting it mildly!!) of UCSD Pascal. More like a fanatic. He runs it on an IBM/PC and on a stand-alone, Z80-based micro, complete with dual 8" floppies!! He has asked me about the possibility of getting a SUN version of UCSD Pascal. Being only a part time Pascal hack, I can't answer his question. Do any of you know if such a thing is available for the SUN workstation or UNIX?? I am aware of the history of the product, and the fact that the vendor that took it over from U.C. went out of business. What is the status of all this now?? We, of course, have the SUN Pascal compiler available as well as a single copy of Oregon's compiler, but he finds these both poor substitutes (SUN's somewhat poorer than Oregon's). Roger BTW - I'm not a regular reader of this group, so e-mail replies would probably be best. <------------> {ucbvax,ames,lll-crg,....}!lll-lcc!freedom!rzh or {ucbvax,ames,lll-crg,....}!lll-lcc!rzh or rzh%freedom.llnl.gov@lll-lcc.llnl.gov
