Has anyone seen the video of Two Tribes? What did you think of it? This same group (Frankie Goes To Hollywood, I think) did the song Relax which also had a strange video to go along with it. If this has been discussed before, sorry, but I just started reading this group. gene foster ihuxr!ewf

I've just been told that Frankie Goes To Hollywood will release an album soon, but it will NOT contain either "Relax" or "Two Tribes" unless the North American release of the album is different from the British version, something that record companies occasionally do to attempt to boost sales of a British group in North America. By the way, Frankie Goes To Hollywood are produced by Trevor Horn, who has worked with such different groups as The Buggles, two different versions of Yes, ABC and Art Of Noise, pretty well all interesting and original stuff. -- Jeff Richardson, DCIEM, Toronto (416) 635-2073 {linus,ihnp4,uw-beaver,floyd}!utcsrgv!dciem!jeff {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!dciem!jeff

Although I haven't seen the video, I have heard both songs, and though people might be interested about some random ramblings about the group, Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Apparently, their previous song, Relax was banned from the BBC for being a little too suggestive (I can't imagine how :-)) which caused major problems for the "Tops of the Pops" show when it stubbornly remained the number one song in Great Britain for quite a while. The group, itself, is reportadly composed of quite a different set of personnel between the two songs (Relax... and Two Tribes) but regardless is scheduled for a US tour some time next year. Who are these people, anyway? -- Ken Shoemaker, Intel, Santa Clara, Ca. {pur-ee,hplabs,amd,scgvaxd,dual,idi,omsvax}!intelca!kds ---the above views are personal. They may not represent those of Intel.
