Hi.
Several years ago, back when I was in college, we used a book by Koffman.
It was a brown smaller_than_normal sized book (ie, 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 or such) and
was titled something like: Structured Programming and Problem Solving in Pascal.
That doesn't sound quite right.
The thing I liked about the book was that it was more of a reference book
than a text.
I recently tried to order the book from B-Dalton, but when it arrived it
was a monster book (couple inches thick), green covered, laid out differently,
different title, etc. In the front of the book it said something like:
"Rev 3, this book supersedes Structure Prog...in Pascal"
Well, what I am really looking for is the old brown Koffman book. Koffman
wrote similar books for Fortran (orange cover I believe), Basic, and maybe
other languages.
So, does anybody out there have a copy (or 2 -- a friend is also looking for
a copy) that they'd like to part with? Or has someone seen the book at a
used-book bookstore?
Since I don't read this newsgroup often (and since I imagine most people
don't want to see bandwidth wasted by this discussion), please reply by one
of the paths listed at the bottom of this posting.
Thank you.
Jon
