Has anyone gotten through to a borland tech type on CIS via the net. I have gotten mail through to Tom Rawson of JPsoftware (4DOS) on CIS, so I know it can be done. However, the woman on the tech support line at Borland had never heard of InterNet, UseNet, bitNet, or anything else as far as I can see. So, if anyone has a valid address for someone at Borland could you send it to me, or post? It is particullarly tough to get decent 'phone support here in Hawaii due to the time differences and the cost; email would be very much nicer. Thanks in advance, -tom -- =============================================================================== webb@uhccux.uhcc.Hawaii.edu "The first duty in life is to assume a pose. So, if anyone has a valid address for (lines deleted) Quoted from a comp.sys.ibm.pc newsgroup posting 10 August 1989: To send mail to people on CompuServe, if the person's CIS i.d. is 76543,210, you would address your message to 76543.210@compuserve.com NOTE: I've never tried it, but others reportedly have, with success. Also note that Borland staff do not have to have heard of "Internet" for this to work. The gateway does the forwarding, they just receive their mail. Hope this is what you need.
