#N:uokvax:5400042:000:871 uokvax!jab Feb 19 22:29:00 1984 I have noticed the a new series, "The Reluctant King" (by L. Sprague de Camp) at local bookstores. No bookstore in the Chicago area has volume one of this series, entitled "The Goblin Tower". I never was much on will power. I have finished reading the second book in the series and am starting on the third. Could somebody please fill me in on the details of the first book? I have learned a good deal from the stories/experiences that Jorian alludes to. (I won't go into detail.) Could somebody please MAIL me a summary of what happened in the first book, or better yet, tell me how to beg/borrow/steal a copy? Please don't send a summary to the net. I would hate to ruin the series for some unsuspecting reader. (I like the premise of the series and recommend the second book, anyhow.) Hang in there; it's possible to find the book. I had to wait almost two months to find the first volume, but I finally located it. Now I can't remember where I hid volumes two and three so I wouldn't read them......
