Does anybody (outside of Borland) know the format for the .chr files? I got the BGI Toolkit hoping it would at least mention it, but it didn't. I don't feel a crying need to do what it allows you to do, namely write drivers for bizarre plotters. I'm about ready to disassemble their font editor here, which probably would not be helpful because it seems to be incredibly buggy and generally malformed; it can't even read its own save files. I might, however, settle for a Cyrillic .chr font or two if anybody has done one already. What non-Borland .bgi's have people written? One that might be nice is one to allocate a bitmap, let you draw on it, and then dump it to screen, .GIF, printer, whatever. However, if Borland's debug.bgi took 38K, I don't think I'm going to bother. /eli/
