I am going to be developing a pretty large database application, and one possibility of doing it is with Turbo Pascal (5.5). However, I really am not going to write all necessary database handling routines myself, so I am looking for suitable commercial packages to serve as bottom layer for this application. Furthermore this application has to be able to handle multiple users in network simultaneously, so this package should include necessary network functions to accomplish this. I would appreciate if those of you who have done some similar project would share their experiences with me and let me know what they think of these packages (ease of use, cost, network support, speed, etc.). One such is B-Tree Filer 5.0 from TurboPower, and at least one magazine has reviewed it quite favorably. However, before I purchase it, I would like to hear about your experiences with it (or other similar packages, after all there has to be more than one such...). Panu Juvonen juvonen@niksula.hut.fi
