Has anybody written a TP interface to a FOSSIL driver? I've written one that works using the intr(); procedure, but the FOSSIL driver that I have (X00V123H.ZIP) warns that multitasking software (i.e. DeskView) will trap a INT 14 request. The author supplies an alternate method to using the intr() procedure which consists of only object code (no source :-() that can be linked in and used instead. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. I can't initialize the driver using the the new procedure TPX00(). Everything's fine using intr(), nothing works using TPX00(). I can live slower performance under DeskView (since I don't use it :-), but I'd like the code to be as robust as possible. I use X.00, DesqView v2.2, and have written a BBS program that interfaces with a fossil driver. I have no problems whatsoever.
