I have a simple question. Will the Turbo Vision menus work in graphics mode? Or is it limited to only text. Does the CRT Unit support >80 columns?? --------------- Andrew Rossmann ({uunet!ddsw1} or {gargoyle!igloo} !infopls!system) Infoplus Support BBS +1 708 537 0247, 1200/2400, 24 hours

Does the CRT Unit >support >80 columns?? Turbo Vision is a text mode system. You can switch between text and graphics modes in a TV program, but you won't be able to use the TV features in graphics mode. I'm not sure about CRT's direct support of > 80 columns. My _suspicion_ is that if the BIOS variable(s) indicate more than 80 columns on the screen, CRT _might_ be able to deal with it appropriately. (FWIW, TurboPower's Object Professional can handle nonstandard screen sizes in a straightforward fashion.) +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Karl Brendel Centers for Disease Control | | Internet: CDCKAB@EMUVM1.BITNET Epidemiology Program Office | | Bitnet: CDCKAB@EMUVM1 Atlanta, GA, USA | | ILink/RIME: KARL BRENDEL phone 404/639-2709 | | CIS : 73307,3101 fts 236-2709 | | GEnie: K.BRENDEL Home of Epi Info 5.0 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
