Happy New Year (well... I may be a bit early here, but it is in England, isn't it?) I finally got my TP 5.5 programs displaying 256-colors but found that the default palette renders my satellite images less meaning- fully than I desire. I need to define a new palette that orders the colors in terms of their relative intensity. This would be the equivalent of using 256 greyscale but using colors. Given a little direction I'm capable of figuring it out. If the answer is in the manual, mine is packed in a little box 125 miles away but I can get hold of a copy. If this is a stupid question, then flame me but tell me the answer anyway! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ William W.
