A number of people have recently mentioned Soviet science fiction, which has reminded me of an excellent collection of short stories I recently read by Kirill Bulychev. ( I hope I spelled the name right. ) The book is titled Gusliar Wonders, and has a number of truly remarkable stories in it. ( It also has some that aren't so remarkable. ) It is put out by Macmillan, and one of the blurbs on the cover informed me "This is part of a continuing effort by Macmillan to expand the horizons of modern science fiction with this Soviet series." Or words to that effect. Has anyone read any of the other books in the Macmillan series? Or indeed any Russian authors at all? {cornell, decvax}!dartvax!karl // karl@dartmouth
