[comp.lang.pascal] Problems with TP 6.0's IDE

Check with the manufacturer of your mouse to see that you have the _very_
latest version of the driver. You can try the microsoft mouse driver that
comes with Windows 3.0 to see if it helps.

I have recently upgraded to TP 6.0 and I was trying out the new IDE which
is supposed to have full mouse support. Well, I noticed that the mouse
doesn't always control the cursor. (This leads me to believe that the
mouse pointer and the cursor are independant as in Word Perfect 5.1) My
problem is that for some reason there is nothing on the screen to indicate
where the mouse is pointing. This means that I can not use the mouse in
a reliable manner.  For example, I can use the mouse to open a pop up menu;
however, I can not tell which menu item the mouse is pointing to. Also
after I run a program that I am editing and I return to the IDE to perform
more editing, the mouse fails to work all together! My mouse is both
microsoft compatible and Mouse Systems Mouse compatible. I have tried it
in both modes and get identical results. I have not had any compatibility
problems with my mouse with any other software package that supports a
mouse. This leads me to believe that there is a problem with TP 6.0. I
would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced similar mouse
problems with TP 6.0 or who knows what can be done to solve the problem.

Thank you very much!
