[comp.lang.pascal] Resident Program Problem

 Can somebody out there tell me how to write a resident program
 to be invoked while running another program, by pressing
 a rarely used key combination. 

 To make it clear: something like SideKick.

 (I am not attempting to write my own SideKick,
 but I am curious to know how this can be done.)
 
 I am using TurboPascal 5.5.
