While this request is hardly relevant to a discussion of pascal perhaps someone could help there is a compiler for an old..old language called SNOWBOL4 it is in the public domain but I don't know where to find it Perhaps someone would have the compiler in which case I should be grateful if it could be send through e/mail in uuencoded form or perhaps someone would know from where I could FTP it [an additional problem is that we are interactive with nowhere - our e/mail is sent to Waikato University in New Zealand - hence the address through the phone line. Waikato then feeds it into the various networks and does the same on the return jouney]. Alan Rosten - Dept Mathematics/Computer Science, University of the South Pacific, Suva. FIJI

> there is a compiler for an old..old language called > SNOWBOL4 I think you mean SNOBOL. Yes there is sth. like that in the PD (I didn't try it however). You can find it on SIMTEL (26.2.0.74) or from one of the TRICKLE servers in Europe (e.g. TRICKLE@TREARN - you get a HELP-file with the command /HELP ). Contact me in case of problems... auge
