Hi, I noticed some time ago that Borland has an area on Compuserve. I have no access to Compuserve, and I wonder what kind of information can be found there, and if it is held anywhere else (e.g. at an anonymous FTP site)... The interesting ones usually show up on ftp sites, like Simtel or garbo.uwasa.fi. The main value of the forums on Compuserve is the messages. They're something like this newsgroup, but with a much higher volume (a hundred or more messages per day). Luckily there's software available to help you select only the topics that interest you; it's much better than rn, for example. If you can find them, there are some real gems available there: you'll generally get good answers to hard problems from someone or other. As to availability: I remember reading that Compuserve was setting up a European connection. I wasn't particularly interested at the time so I can't remember the details, but it may exist by now, and may make it available in the UK at reasonable prices.
