<> A cohort of mine (who is not on the net) has exhausted other means of locating two researchers of great interest, so I am posting this request on his behalf. If you can help, please reply via e-mail to uncsmk@unc.BITNET or via USnail to Steven M. Kemp L. L. Thurstone Laboratory Psychology Dept. Davie Hall (013A) University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, NC 27514 Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - re: Missing Philosopher, David Berlinski I read "On systems analysis:" (1976) and skimmed "Philosophy: the Cutting Edge" (1975) by David Berlinski with great interest but can find no further reference to him or his work. He apparently graduated Harvard in the late 60's or early 70's and then taught at the University of Puget Sound until 1975. Puget Sound admits no knowledge of his whereabouts. I am extremely interested in corresponding with Dr. Berlinski, or at least in finding out about other of his works. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - re: Missing Scientist, Anatol Holt Dr. Holt participated in the 1968 conference with Warren McCulloch, Gregory Bateson and others that was recorded by Mary Catherine Bateson in her book, "Our Own Metaphor." David Lipset says he interviewed Dr. Holt for his biography of Gregory Bateson. I am extremely interested in corresponding with Dr. Holt, or at least in finding out about other of his works.
