I am doing an investigation of the effects of several second-order parameters on the performance of a Chemical Vapor Deposition furnace. In order to analyse the data, i am in need of a program that can take a function of up to 6 INDEPENDENT variables, and fit it to a set of data. The program needs to be able to handle exponential and power functions, also. I have a program that handles this type of fitting for one independent variable, but i have 5, and may add another to the experiment. i would appreciate ANY lead that anyone could give me to such a program. i could probably write one myself, but it would take several months of research and another month of programming. i don't have that kind of time to throw into something that i am sure someone has done before. please reply by e-mail if possible.
