Kronos, Inc., of Waltham, MA, would greatly appreciate any suggestions to
aid us in our quest for automatic labor scheduling software or algorithms
to purchase or license. Guidance in directing us to individuals knowledge-
able in this field would also be much appreciated.
Specifically, Kronos desires an algorithm written in C, to run a 286 PC or
better under DOS. The algorithm should be capable of scheduling at least
1 week at a time, and complete reasonably fast ( less than 15 minutes for
practical size problems ). From 4 to 8 Mbytes of extended memory would be
available for use by the algorithm.
