Hi Net-land, [Sorry if this is an inappropriate newsgroup for this question, but I am desperate]. I am trying to find out any information about the following item: a plastic card (similar to a credit-card) containing an embedded PROM or EEPROM with metal contacts enabling the contents of the PROM to be read (or in the case of an EEPROM written). I have heard that the French telephone company uses a card like this for customer billing. Can someone provide me with information (name, address, or telephone number) on the company(ies) that manufacture this card. Even information on a company that uses such a device would be appreciated. Please e-mail responses directly to me as I don't regularly suscribe to this newsgroup. Thank You. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Brian G.
