In connection with some research I am doing in the development of association nets I am in desperate need of an English language parser for serial machines or the Connection Machine. I am looking for something that will (hopefully) take normal English text and return sentence trees or a similar grammatical structure. I realize that to do this correctly is an unsolved problem but would be quite cheerful with something hacked together that will give me a partially correct result. Anything that works across an approximately similar domain would be quite welcome. If anyone has software to share or can give me some pointers in the right direction, I would be eternally grateful.
