[sci.math.stat] Item Analysis SW needed

ern@cisunx.UUCP (Ernest J Obusek) (05/01/89)

I'm looking for recommendations on a statistical software package for an IBM
AT that will do item analysis. I'm not a math/stat person so I hope someone
will know what this is. Basically, some psychologists here developed a test
to evaluate employee skill levels or something like that, and they want to do
some analysis of the test itself. Does anything like this exist? Thanks for
any help you can give!

If memory serves me, SPSS (mainframe) does item analysis so why don't you
check out SPSS PC?
