One problem that has annoyed me on my NeXT (BSD 4.3, Gnu C) for some time is that there are three floating point numbers that can be output by printf, but not read by an equivalent scanf: the 68040 definitions of NaN, +Infinity, and -Infinity. Are there any altered versions of scanf/sscanf/etc. that can handle this shortcoming? Incidentally, where do I get COPS? /ivo welch
