		=====================================

Hi folks,

I am in the process of writing an analyzer for my PhD thesis experiment
[ p(gamma,eta)p at threshold ] and I was wondering if anyone knows a
way to force simulated events into the Q raw data buffers. This would be
used to test the analyzer before we have to ship it off to the lab. Here
at Pitt, we don't have access to all the detector electronics (40 ADC,
assorted scalers etc...), but we do have a monte carlo program that can
simulate the type of events that we will be seeing, and I would kind of
like to test the analyzer while it is running in the full Q environment.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please reply by email.

(In addition to the addresses in my .signature, jgh2@unix.cis.pittsburgh.edu
also works occasionally, but isn't reliable)

Thanks,
John
