Hello. I am looking for a book that I used last year from my univ. library, but can no longer find, and I need it again. The book was a really goood explanation of the way filters, or digital signal processing worrked mathematically. The title of hte book was something like Filter Theory for Mathematicians or Digital Signal Processing for mathematicians or SOmething like that. What I need is a book written for mathematicians that explains (without getting too complicated and w/out getting into appllications too much) the math of filters and digital processing... Please help me. I have ravaged (yeah, that's right :-) ) all the catalogs and computer catalogs for this book that I know is out there, but whose title or authour I cannot remember. The reference desk people weren't much help either... Another clue I have is that I remember the authour writing in the foreword that this was a book for mathematicians who did not know the electronics... Thank You very much.
