I just posted five files to comp.sources.amiga. They were sent off to the moderator, who, I hope, will post them shortly. Keep your eyes open. This was the right place to post it, no? It should start arriving in a week? 2? The program plots yale star data on the amiga. It is written in C, the binaries are uuencoded. There is a short derivation of the rendering formulae. It is a simple, but fun program (given that you like looking at stars). Feel free to make suggestions, or changes, but letting me know would be a more efficient way of getting the improvements back out to everyone. The data is in 16 byte records (ie binary). Two motorola ffp floats and two shorts (ra, dc, mag, colour). Therefore, it might not be useful to non-amigoids. Look it over.
