It was reported in the Thursday 1/28/88 _Ann Arbor News_ that Jim Loudon was found dead in his Dexter, MI area home on Wednesday. The date of death was listed as Monday. He was 45 years old. Jim had done news reporting for NPR and the University of Michigan radio station, WUOM. He was an inveterate and enthusiastic lecturer and popularizer of astronomy and space, and a very popular figure in Ann Arbor with the 20-year record of his Astrofest lecture series.
