Hi, I'm looking for compilations of astronomical events, birthdays, holidays, and other auspicious dates and times. I have seen databases for calendar(1) containing such things, but let them go by. If there is sufficient interest, I'll summarize. rjk@gateway.sequent.com

Someone in sci.astro posted astronomy information, and someone (Miriam Nadel ?) used to post a monthly calendar. I never did get all the parts to that. Any information you get, I would love to get. I use the info in the motd, and it generally gives everyone a kick to know that today is the start of National Kitchen and Bath Week.
