[net.sf-lovers] looking for an S.F. APA to join

arny@uwmacc.UUCP (07/01/84)

Hello... I'm a native of Madison, WI who is
looking for a fannish apa to join; I had access to
newsnet and usenet for a while, and that was fun,
but I no longer have acess to them and I"m looking for
a similar kind of longdistance communication...mail
sent to this account will probably reach me; I'll also
     include my U.Snail address.
(This is a rented account... I'm paying money for it,
and my budget is too limit to allow much time online).

Who am I... many things. A graduate from St. Olaf college
in Northfield, MN, a lover of philosophy, ethics,
hard and soft science fiction, fantasy, and so forth.
I'm currently living in Madison, and looking for a
graduate program in Computer Science for the near future.
I've been in and out of science fiction fandom for a while,
and would like to get back in a bit. If anyone has contact
with an apa, or knows an address, I'd appreciate getting
     it. Thanks!

	Hello...
I'm Philip Arny, and I'm looking (as I
said) for a fannish apa to join. I used
to be at a place where I could access the
net for free (but no more -- I'm paying for
this) and I'd like some of the long-distance
conversation like the net provides. (An apa,
as I understand it, is a round robbin letter
of sorts, where responses to the last issue
are collated by one person, who mails the new
issue to members of the apa).

I like... hard sf, soft sf, fantasy, etc.
	(Niven, Le Guin,) + computers.

I'd like addresses, etc, of apa's, if people
have them. You can send mail here, (it'll
probably reach me) or U.S. mail address

Thanks for any help you can give me!!!
