The next opportunities to launc`h BURAN in morning daylight with a MIR overflight is Dec 23 05:12UT and Dec 25 04:24UT. To avoid such a long delay the MIR connection would have to be abandoned.

I guess they will try again the second week in November, after the October Revolution holiday. Jonathan McDowell
