I recently read through some old newspaper clippings on the SST that I cut from the papers back when I was in High School. I will stand by my statement about "noisy neo-luddites". Whatever other 'reasons' may have been used to justify the anti-SST stand, they were more creative inventions to try to kill the SST than they were reality. I would put them on a par with Jeremy Rifkin anti-tech arguments in use today.
